OUR STORY
CP Group Tasmania is a proudly Tasmanian-owned business delivering structured property and facility maintenance, project management and insurance repair services across the state. Founded by industry professionals Sam Potter and Jydon Crawford, our leadership team brings strong trade foundations combined with a progressive, systems-driven approach to modern maintenance delivery.
We provide complete end-to-end asset solutions through our directly employed in-house trades and a vetted statewide subcontractor network. From high-volume responsive maintenance and void refurbishments to emergency make-safes and capital upgrades, we manage every job from initial request through to completion and performance reporting.
Our commitment to accountability, safety compliance and clear communication ensures clients receive reliable, transparent and measurable outcomes. Through integrated job management systems and real-time tracking, we deliver visibility, efficiency and consistency across every project.

CP Group Tasmania is led by Co-Founders Sam Potter and Jydon Crawford, whose combined experience spans large-scale construction, plumbing, facility maintenance and refurbishment works.
Sam’s background includes working on Australia’s largest construction project in Western Australia, valued at over $50 billion, while Jydon brings more than a decade of hands-on experience delivering plumbing and construction projects across Tasmania.
Together, their practical industry knowledge and shared commitment to quality have shaped CP Group into a trusted partner delivering facility maintenance, renovation, refurbishment and project works across the state.

Sam Potter is the Managing Director and Co-Founder of CP Group Tasmania. With a background in Building and Construction, he brings a practical, hands-on understanding of the industry and the realities clients face when managing large property portfolios. Sam founded CP Group with a clear vision: to simplify property and facility maintenance by providing one reliable partner with directly employed trades, structured systems, and clear communication. Under his leadership, the business has grown into a trusted provider delivering maintenance, refurbishment and project works across Tasmania. Sam leads the business with a strong focus on accountability, responsiveness and delivering on commitments. He believes the small things matter — responding quickly, communicating clearly and taking ownership from the first request through to completion. Through this approach, Sam continues to build a high-performing team and long-term client partnerships while guiding CP Group toward sustainable growth and innovation. Outside of the business, Sam is a proud Tasmanian and a dedicated father. His commitment to building strong teams, creating opportunities and contributing positively to the community reflects both his professional and personal values.

Jydon Crawford is a Director and Co-Founder of CP Group Tasmania and the founder of Pickle Plumbing & Gas Pty Ltd. With more than a decade of experience in the plumbing and gas industry, he brings a practical, hands-on approach to project delivery and operational leadership. Jydon has played a key role in building CP Group’s multi-trade capability, helping establish the systems, standards and team culture that support reliable service delivery across Tasmania. His experience spans residential, commercial and large-scale maintenance works, where technical expertise and efficient coordination are essential. Jydon leads with a strong focus on quality workmanship, accountability and continuous improvement. By embracing modern tools and structured systems, he works to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standard for clients. Outside of the business, Jydon is a dedicated family man and father of four. His strong work ethic and commitment to supporting both his team and his family reflect the grounded values that help shape CP Group’s culture.
